Sichuan benefit

First of all, from the bottom of my heart, thank you to all who came in support of the cause and continue to show your care and concern for those affected in Sichuan.

The question was asked of me

"Why as a foreigner would you do something like this for the people in Sichuan [in a country not your own]?

My answer was quick and from the heart.

When I was living and working in Canada I gave a great deal of my time and effort to a couple of community organizations.

Now that I am living and working, and have a family in Zhuhai [China], THIS is where my community is.

As brothers and sisters we must help each other when we can, and when we must.

If that means giving time, money, or maybe just a simple prayer for hope it's a small gesture from us all that will give somebody a better outlook on tomorrow.
